A New Life For A 3-Legged Friend!

Gidget was brought into SPCA Tampa Bay Veterinary Center with a severe injury to her right-front leg. 

Her family, unable to care for her medical expenses, surrendered the kitten to SPCA Tampa Bay. The kitten was so spunky and full of life, our medical staff knew amputating the leg would not affect her in the least bit! 

After Gidget’s surgery a staff member fostered the kitten until she was fully healed and able to return to the shelter. The most exciting part? That staff member’s friend Kolbi met Gidget during her recovery time and fell in love! The day Gidget became available for adoption, Kolbi was the first to greet her!
