Happy Mama, Happy Baby!

Veronica (right, in photo) recently fostered a new mother named "Big Girl" and her litter of puppies. She fell in love with Big Girl and after returning the puppies to the shelter for their final round of vaccinations and spay and neuter surgeries, she decided to adopt Big Girl. (We lovingly call that "foster failure"!)

While filling out paper work in the adoption center she met Sandra (left, in photo above) who was adopting "Stella", one of Big Girl's puppies! It was an unbelievable cute and happy moment.

The photo below was taken by Veronica of baby Stella. How amazing she could share these photos with Stella's new mom!

Here is the happy mom and happy baby waiting to go to their new homes. (Sound on for puppy cuteness!)

Thank you to all SPCA Foster Volunteers who help support new mothers and their litters until they are big and strong enough to find their own forever homes. We also thank everyone who adopts from SPCA Tampa Bay and gives a pet a second chance at happiness.

Congratulations Stella and Big Girl!
